The Best Black Bean Dip
This fiesta black bean dip is the tastiest hummus you ever tried. Black beans are blended with creamy tahini, toasted chiles, lime and cilantro to make a smooth and decadent dip. I like to call this one hummus' sexier cousin. It is alot like chickpea hummus but zestier. Serve it with soft tortillas, crackers or chips. Or put it on a vegan sandwich or wrap, layered with fresh and crunchy veggies. Vegan Black Bean Dip
Most people imagine a bean dip as a concoction layered with cheese, sour cream and guacamole. While that classic is tasty, I prefer this Fiesta Black Bean Dip. This one is vegan, gluten free, and full of Latin flavors. That is what makes this recipe perfect for a Cinco de Mayo gathering or a holiday fiesta. The combination of black beans and tahini is so silky smooth and delicious. It is original and very different from both hummus and the seven layer bean dips you are used to. This recipe is sure to be a fave.

How to make Fiesta Bean Dip
This bean dip is very easy to make. In less than 30 minutes you will have the tastiest snack you have ever eaten!
- First, toast the chiles. To do this, place them in the middle of a 8x8 square of aluminum foil. Fold the sides up to enclose the chiles in a package so that all the odor stays inside the package. Place the package directly on your oven rack. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes until the chiles have blackened slightly.
- Next, open the cans and drain the black beans. Place them in the blender.
- Add the squeezed lime, tahini, olive oil, salt, cilantro and toasted chiles.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Top with optional garnishes.
