    How Does The Meal Planner Work?

    There are 3 modes that you can choose from.

    Original Mode

    The first way to use the planner is the traditional auto-generated mode which generates your weekly plan for you according to your preferences. Here is how it works.

    STEP 1: Personalize

    Start by setting up your profile by filling out your preferences, including allergies. Set up your goals and how many people you are cooking for.

    Step 2: Get Your Meal Plan

    The planner generates a weekly 5 day meal plan according to your preferences and goals. Weekends are optional to add-on, giving you a chance to eat any leftovers or have time for spontaneity.

    Step 3: Grocery List

    Your grocery list is generated automatically according to your weekly menu! Check off items you already have and go shopping.

    Manual Scheduling Mode

    This all-new mode is for people who want more control over their meal plan. In this mode you will choose the recipes you want for each meal and put them in a weekly schedule manually. This way, if you know you have a crazy day on Tuesday, you can use leftovers from a double batch of Monday night cooking. You can also save meal plans to favorites, or save the recipes you like best to make again later! Keep tabs on your daily macros, add and subtract recipes according to your goals.

    Rogue Mode

    Rogue mode is for you if you want to use the app like a cookbook rather than a planner. Choose a couple of recipes that you want to make this week, then let the app do its magic. It will make your shopping list for you to take to the store. This is also great if you are hosting a party or making a Holiday spread. Simply choose the recipes you love most and cook with the app on your phone or tablet. No more writing lists, it will do it for you.

    Before becoming a Mother, I used to wing it at meal times. I'd let my stomach dictate my meals. It worked... until life got chaotic.

    What kind of recipes are included?

    The Betterfoodguru app includes plant-based recipes for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's more than 75 salads, plus dozens of soups, pastas, curries and desserts. This is the largest collection of Betterfoodguru recipes that exist!

    How much does it cost?

    The cost is $19.99 for 3 months or $49.99 per year.

    Are the recipes in Metric or Imperial measurements?

    You have the option for either when you fill out your profile.

    I have food allergies. Will the Betterfoodguru Planner work for me?

    When you fill out your profile you can add in your allergies. The planner will filter Nuts, Soy, Hemp and Gluten from your plan.

    Why are the recipe measurements in fractions and funny sizes sometimes?

    Since each user has specific portions specified, the planner divides or multiplies the ingredient list according to how much you want to make.

    Can I add other items to my grocery list?

    Once your grocery list is generated by the planner you can easily add or subtract items manually.
