Orange Ginger Tofu

Ingredients

extra firm tofu
drained and cubed

sesame oil

garlic cloves

tbsp
fresh ginger
minced

oranges juiced or ½ cup orange juice

water

maple syrup

tbsp
soy sauce

tsp
cornstarch
mixed with 1 tsp water to make a slurry

tbsp
green onions
sliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400
Add 1 tsp sesame oil to sheet pan and use your hand to spread to the edges then put tofu on the sheet pan and bake for 20 minutes turning once halfway
Make the sauce by frying the garlic and ginger in 1 tsp sesame oil over medium heat until golden and fragrant
Add orange juice and water and stir then add maple syrup, soy sauce and bring to a boil
Add slurry to boiling mixture and stir until thickened
Lastly, add the tofu to the sauce, toss well and garnish with green onions.
Notes
Serve with rice and vegetables for a full meal.
